Welcome back to our previous players and a big welcome to the large number of new players we have across all the age groups - we are thrilled to have so many new faces and hope you enjoy your hockey with us at Marlborough.

We hope you've had a wonderful Summer and are ready for a fantastic season of hockey. We're all getting very excited as have a special guest coming along to one of your training sessions (23rd Sept)! Training
Training starts on Sun 9th September for the younger age groups and Tues 11th and Wed 12th for the older groups. Please check your training times on the website. This season we are trialling another part of Pitchero which will enable Parents to confirm attendance for training as well as matches, giving coaches a heads up as to anticipated numbers. This feature can be used via your account on the website or via the Pitchero Club app (free for usual app stores).

Clothing & Equipment
Please ensure your child(ren) come equipped with a fitted gum shield, shin pads, water and suitable clothing - inc waterproof coats and gloves! There is nothing worse than playing hockey when you're wet and your hands are freezing! Cheap dimpled riding gloves are fab for the colder mornings. For those new starters we have some sticks that we are happy to loan out. If any of you have unwanted sticks please feel free to donate them as we always have a demand for them - especially the smaller size sticks.

Alternatively a larger range of kit is available online from Silver FX who supply all of our Senior kit. There is a long delivery time so order soon if you want to purchase for Christmas!
Please note we supply the playing shirts for all the Junior teams so these are not required.

Training Updates / Cancellations
Any training / fixture updates, notifications or cancellations will all be done via Pitchero. Please regularly check the website, check your emails (inc Clutter!) or download the app to ensure that you have the latest information.

Payment & Contact Information
Unless you are a new starter, or you have already contacted us, please can you ensure that you have paid the Junior Membership subscription for the 2018-19 season as a matter of urgency and that you check your contact information and children’s medical information is up to date. If we haven’t received payment you will not be allowed on the pitch. If you have any queries, or issues, please let me know! I will be around on Sunday mornings for both training sessions with my laptop for the first few weeks to assist anyone having Pitchero issues.
