Dear Parents
Welcome back to the second half of the hockey season. We wish you all a Happy New Year.
We have lots going on in the next few months and a full list of dates is at the end of this letter.

Firstly, the Pitchero App (from our website) is a great way of keeping up to date with info regarding the hockey club, such as weather cancelation; it can also be used to keep your child's availability for matches up to date so please do look at downloading it if you have a smart phone otherwise this can be done on the website http://www.marlborough-hockey.org.uk/

Please keep your child’s availability up to date on Pitchero to aid the coaches with selection. We aim to ensure all children who want to gain match play experience, get an opportunity to play in festivals and/or tournaments through the season. Thank you to all those parents who have already been using Pitchero to provide their child’s availability, it is greatly appreciated.
Selection and info for matches will be confirmed by email. If you are not receiving email from the club please check your email setting in Pitchero or in your junk folder.

With weather on our minds, please do make sure your child has enough warm clothing on (hats, gloves etc) as it’s always easier to remove layers than not have them and sticks are hard to hold with cold fingers!

If you have not paid your child’s annual subscription please can you do so in the next 7 days, there will be a payment assigned within your Pitchero account.

Within the next few weeks a simple, quick to complete online Club Survey for parents will be circulated. Please can I encourage you all to take 5 minutes out to complete it, as we do very much appreciate your input and support.

Finally, please put Friday 23rd March in your diary for the Junior Presentation Evening. It would be lovely to have as many there as possible, players and parents.
