Teamwork, hard work and perseverance

On a sunny Saturday morning the 2s played Corsham who were just one place below us in the league. After a tough 10 minutes the attacking line broke down their defence and Verity put us one up. However, they continued to put pressure on our defence and eventually scored a goal.

With Pete shouting from the sideline Holly, Taty and Millie out ran their slower defence with Taty putting the ball in the back of the net after some fantastic teamwork. After several quick runs up the middle from Ellie, Freya made an outstanding run and put another ball onto the back board.

A quick tactic change at half time from Pete meant Lou, Vicky and Gabbie were able to prevent the ball from entering the defensive quarter. As a result we attacked well and Verity converted another goal for us. Emily and Helen were incredibly strong at the back and stopped any chances Corsham had. Edie was great in goal, but luckily didn't have much to do!

The team all played together well and everyone deserved recognition! Hopefully our winning streak will continue!
