A great match for Marlborough 2s

On the 22nd of February we played North Wilts. It was a great game and we fought well, despite it being the first league match for four of the team. Our defence was very strong. Yasmine was great in goal saving many goal attempts in her first full league match. Lucy played some amazing balls and for her first league game it was great to see. Sarah, Sophie and Debbie took some brilliant 16s managing to get the ball a good way up the pitch which really helped the forwards, including Holly and Lora in their debut match. We all tried really hard and it was one of the best games we have played. In the second half we were getting the ball into our half of the pitch and hand some attempts on goal. The last five minutes were the best sadly we didn’t manage to get a goal. It was and all round great game. The score at the end was 1:0 to North Wilts.
