Saturday blues

We went out to Corsham motivated and determined, ready to annihilate Corsham's team 2 after being thrashed by Corsham 1s last weekend.

We started off the match with both teams very strong and putting pressure on the ball, but a few silly mistakes and good passes by Corsham later, they had their first goal. The rest of the first half was intense. Corsham gained three more goals but most of the team put in their all and we defended many good attempts at goal. Our attackers and inners also managed to get the ball into the attacking D a few times and try a few shots on goal, which were close but not quite there.

The second half was more successful, as we only lost 1-0. Defensively our team improved drastically, running back and forward to save goals constantly. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a goal but their team defended with 100%.
