With Marlborough on the up, Sidmouth scored on the stroke of half time with a well worked goal. 3-2! The second half was much the same, with Sidmouth looking dangerous on the counter attack, but Marlborough showed a lot composure. They moved the ball well and looked solid at the back with Matt Way and Keir Headley. The home side drew level through Gareth Playfair after good work from Will Radnedge to leave the game nicely poised with 20 minutes to go! The game started to get a little heated with tackles flying in, but Marlborough stood firm and scored what turned out to be the winner. Keir Headley scored a ripper of a drag flick as he slotted home, right into the corner of the goal.... An unstoppable flick!! Sidmouth had nothing to lose and had a go in the last few minutes.
