Match Report: west wilts b vs Marlborough B

Marlborough got off to a strong start scoring 2 goals quickly after the start of the match. The first come by from a wonderfully skilful overhead pick in the D by Wayne Cranstone. The second a well worked run from the left back Alex Ford tapping it in 6in from the line. Marlborough then continued to attack in the first half to score another goal leaving us 3 up to start off the second half. The 3rd coming from Man of the match Gabe Dellar! This was uncharted territory for the 3s. In the second half West Wilts B came onto the offence a lot stronger scoring a goal and making other changes. However we managed to hold them to only 1 goal and a 3-1 win to Marlborough. Mentions must be made to Phil Gill and Chris Newton for both hitting the woodwork.
