The first away game of the season didn't hamper Marlborough 2 in coming away with a win. The first half of the match wasn't as tidy as usual, but thankfully the team were able to keep the pressure on Frome with numerous chances on goal, 2 of which finally hit the back of the net thanks to Verity. After some well earned refreshments provided by the Langfield boys at half time the team went strong into the second half, and scored two goals in quick succession thanks to Anna and Victoria. From had a few breaks, but were stopped in their tracks by Emily, Alice and Amy. After another goal from Anna, Frome got a break which ended in a short corner. Despite bold the efforts of the defence, particularly Gabbie, they were able to convert the short into a goal. Not to let them keep their heads up for too long, Anna achieved a hat trick, shortly before the final whistle. A good effort all round, and POTM to Victoria Williams.
